God made my eyes

Objective: The objective of this lesson is to teach the children that God made their
eyes, and that they are an incredibly made!

Bible Story: Blind Bartimaeus Mark 10:46
Memory Verse: Psalm 139 ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made’
Bottom Line: God made me, ‘what an incredible invention’
Song idea: Be careful little eyes what you see
Story: Talk about eyes. What do we use our eyes for?

  •  Ask the children what it would be like to be blind?
  • Get everyone to close their eyes and pretend that they can’t see.
  •  Tell the story of Blind Bartimaeus.
  •  Jesus is amazing isn’t he!! He makes eyes and He fixes them.
  •  Pray and thank God for giving us eyes.

Activity: Cardboard Masks
You will need:

  • 1 cut out cardboard mask for each child
  • Glue and glitter
  • sequins
  • feathers
  • any other shiny decorating tools
  • Elastic
  • Stapler

Objective: The objective of this lesson is to teach the children that God made their ears,
and they are incredibly made.

Bible Story: Samuel(when The Lord calls Samuel in his sleep) 1 Samuel 3
Memory Verse: Psalm 139 ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made’
Bottom Line: God made me, what and incredible invention!
Song Idea: Be careful little ears what you here
Story: Talk about ears. What do we use our ears for?

  •  Play broken down telephones with the children.
  •  Tell the story of Samuel. How God spoke to him, and how Samuel listened to
  •  God. Discuss the importance of using the ears that God has given us!
  •  Who should we listen to? Our Dad’s and Mom’s, Our Teachers and God.
  •  We shouldn’t listen when people are unkind or if someone tells us to do !
  •  something that we know is naughty.
  •  End by thanking God for giving us ears, and asking Him to help us to use our ears to listen well.
  • Activity: Musical Instrument(Shaker) made from toilet rolls.

You will need:

  • One empty toilet roll for each child
  • Large stickers to seal off the end of each toilet roll
  • Rice, Lentils or seeds to place in toilet roll
  • Koki pens or crayons to decorate instruments

Objective: The objective of this lesson is to teach the children that God our noses, and
they are an incredible invention.

Bible Story: Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, enjoying all the beautiful plants and
smelling the beautiful flowers.
Memory Verse: Psalm 139 ʻI am fearfully and wonderfully madeʼ
Bottom Line: God made me, what an incredible invention.

Story: Play a game with the children. Blindfold a brave child, and allow them to smell
different items, one at a time, and guess what that item might be. Eg. A flower, an orange
etc. Ask the children to give you ideas about other things that smell. What can they think
of? Tell a story about a smell that is very special to you. Eg. It could be a memory you
have of arriving home from school and smelling your Momʼs baking. Or you could tell a
story about a time when your nose was blocked and you couldnʼt smell. Talk about how
incredible our noses are, because they can smell. God is amazing, He made each and
every personʼs nose!
End by praying and thanking God for making our noses.

Activity: A Smelly Flower
You will need:

Perfume/Deodarant

  • A Cardboard Cut Out of a Flower
  • Colourful Crinkle Paper
  • Glue

The children decorate the flower, by sticking the crinkle paper on the petals, and then the
teacher sprays the flower with a little perfume/deodarant.

Objective: The objective of this lesson is to teach the children that God made our mouths, and they are an incredible invention.

Bible Story: John 4 ʻThe Woman at The Wellʼ
Memory Verse: Psalm 139 ʻI am fearfully and wonderfully madeʼ
Bottom Line: God made me, what an incredible invention.
Story: Play a game with the children. Place 5 containers in front of them. Each container
should be filled with a different ingredient(all white). Eg. White flour, Salt, White Sugar,
Bicarb and Icing Sugar. Allow the children to take turns tasting all the different ingredients,
and ask them to describe the tastes and guess what they might be tasting. Talk to the
children about how very clever our mouthʼs are, and how boring life would be if we
werenʼt able to taste and enjoy our food. Ask the children to describe their best tasting
food. Tell the story about the woman at the well. She met Jesus, and then went away and
told all her friends about him. We should use our mouths to tell people about Jesus
whenever we can.
Pray with the children, thanking God for giving us mouths, and asking Him to help us to
use our mouths to tell people about Him.
Explain today’s activity to the children.

Activity: Tasty Marie Biscuits(Iced and Decorated by the Children)
You will need:

  • Marie Biscuits
  • Icing Sugar
  • Food Colouring
  • Different kinds of Sweets to Taste and Decorate!

Objective: The objective of this lesson is to teach the children that God made our hands, and they are incredibly made.
Bible Story:
Memory Verse: Psalm 139 ʻI am fearfully and wonderfully madeʼ
Bottom Line: God made me, what an incredible invention!
Story: Get the children to join you in doing a whole lot of different things with their hands.
Ie. clicking, clapping, tapping their knees.
Discuss all the various things that we use our hands for. Ie. eating, playing music,
drawing pictures. Tell the children that the Bible talks often about praising God with our
hands, by clapping or lifting our hands up to Him in worship. We can also draw pictures
for God, or write Him letters. Where would we be without our hands?
Perhaps sing a song of praise to God and get the children to clap while singing!
Pray with the children, thanking God for giving us hands and asking Him to help us to use
our hands to worship Him.
Explain today’s activity to the children.

God made my feet

Objective: The objective of this lesson is to teach the children that God made our feet and what an incredible invention they are!

Bible Story: Mark 2 ‘Jesus heals the paralytic’
Memory Verse: Psalm 139 ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made.’
Bottom Line: God made me, what an incredible invention!
Story: Start off by getting the children to stamp their feet and move around. Get them to
walk, then run, then walk slowly etc. Talk about the amazing things we can do with our
feet, and how much fun we can have because we have feet. I think God gave us feet so
that we can also dance for Him.
Then talk about what it would be like to not have feet. Ask the children how they would
feel, what they would miss doing if they didn’t have feet etc?
Tell the story about the man whose feet didn’t work(the paralytic). What a great story.
Worth mentioning the friends who helped this guy get to Jesus. We can help others who
can’t walk or are sick. We can pray for them!
End off by praying. Thank God for the feet He has given us!

Activity: Footprints (Either trace around every child’s foot, or if you are brave, they can
make paint prints with their feet).
